Avoiding Expensive Personal Grievance Outcomes

Good performance management is about managing for success at the same time as being prepared for, and capable of managing, potentially costly challenges from employees affected by change.

This half day in-house workshop is designed to ensure that participants understand the framework for managing poor performance from a procedural and substantive perspective and therefore avoid costly outcomes should the employer bring an employment relationship to an end.

 

Preparation for Bargaining

Collective bargaining is not a dispute process. Ideally it is a conversation between parties to resolve matters of interest to each. This half day in-house work shop is designed to ensure that the employer’s negotiation team is appreciative of their negotiation environment, understand their obligation to bargain in good faith and develop strategies to minimise risk and confrontation.

The work shop traverses the full spectrum of negotiation commencing from the notice of bargaining through to analysis of employer expectations, preparation for negotiations and dealing with union claims.
